A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 running roughly northwest-southeast across Barnsfield Heath. The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 running roughly northwest-southeast across Barnsfield Heath (1). The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date. They have partially been destroyed by earthmoving associated with the test tracks to the north of Heath Road West (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
