Summary
The possible site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Barnsfield Heath. This whole area has since been disturbed by earthmoving associated with the construction of the Test Tracks and the site is no longer visible on recent imagery. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
The possible site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Barnsfield Heath (1). This whole area has since been disturbed by earthmoving associated with the construction of the Test Tracks and the site is no longer visible on recent imagery (2-3). The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
