Summary
The probable site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the west of the caravan site at Matcham's park. The curvilinear hollow was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
The probable site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the west of the caravan site at Matcham's Park (1). The curvilinear hollow is 8m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site is now overgrown in scrubby vegetation (2) and the condition of the monument uncertain.
