The probable sites of two Second World War bomb impact craters or shell holes are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the northwest of the Matcham's View (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site was destroyed by the construction of the A338 (T) in the 1960s (2).
