The probable sites of two Second World War bomb impact craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 in the vicinity of what is now Sylvan Close, Ashley Heath. The curvilinear features are 10m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

The probable sites of two Second World War bomb impact craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 in the vicinity of what is now Sylvan Close, Ashley Heath (1). The curvilinear features are 10m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site was destroyed by modern housing by 1962 (2-3).
