Summary

The site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the north of Boundary Lane, Matchams. This area remains undeveloped since the war and is now under scrubby vegetation and low trees. It is not possible to determine the current condition of the monument. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

The site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the north of Boundary Lane, Matchams (1). This area remains undeveloped since the war and is now under scrubby vegetation and low trees. It is not possible to determine the current condition of the monument (2). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
