Trackways of post medieval or early 20th century origin with associated pits, possibly extractive, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the west of the Matcham's View (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site was largely destroyed by the construction of the A338 (T) in the 1960s (2).
