Full Description

A series of bare-earth trackways with isolated earthworks probably associated with Second World War military activity are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1947 on Leybrook Common (1-2). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site is under scrubby vegetation and light trees (3), not sign of the features was evident but they may still survive under the vegetation.
