Three small hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 within Whitehouse Wood (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site is under scrubby vegetation and light tree cover and the features remain intact (2).
