Summary
A group of small earthwork features (mound and hollows) are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 under what is now St Ives Park, St Ives. The features are possible associated with Second World War military activity and were therefore digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been levelled by 20th century housing development.

Full Description
A group of small earthwork features (mound and hollows) are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 under what is now St Ives Park, St Ives (1). The features are possibly associated with Second World War military activity and are reminisent of early searchlight batteries found elsewhere *(e.g Humber Esturay). They digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been levelled by 20th century housing development (2-3).
