Summary

Several ditched trackways are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 cutting across Cranborne Common between Blackwater and Cross Roads Plantation. They are considered to be ancient routeways across the common possibly originating in the post medieval, medieval or even earlier periods. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Several ditched trackways are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (1-2) cutting across Cranborne Common between Blackwater and Cross Roads Plantation. They are considered to be ancient routeways across the common possibly originating in the post medieval, medieval or even earlier periods.
