Summary
Narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the east of Bonfire Hill, Alderholt. The features are considered to be post medieval narrow ridge and furrow or early 20th century ploughing, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
Narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the east of Bonfire Hill, Alderholt (1-2). The features are considered to be post medieval narrow ridge and furrow or early 20th century ploughing, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. Some of the rig survived until 2002 (3) after which time it has been plough-levelled. Other areas may still survive under trees and scrub.
