Two units of narrow ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 at Hill Cottage Farm, Alderholt. The features are considered to be post medieval narrow ridge and furrow or early 20th century ploughing, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
Two units of narrow ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 at Hill Cottage Farm, Alderholt (1). The features are considered to be post medieval narrow ridge and furrow or early 20th century ploughing, they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has been under plough and not visible since 1979.
