Summary
A number of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 running for 800m in a roughly east-west direction to the south of Cripplestyle Plantation. They are considered to be ancient routeways across the common possibly originating in the post medieval, medieval or even earlier periods. They are no longer visible on recent digital photographs. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A number of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 running for 800m in a roughly east-west direction to the south of Cripplestyle Plantation (1).
