(ST 59020692) St Edwold's Church (NR). (1)
The parish church of St Edwold was built or re-built in the 15th century and is of local rubble and roofed with stone slates and blue slates. The west porch was added in 1636 at the same time as the bell turret. Above the porch there is a panel inscribed "WP 1636". The windows are of two and three lights and date from the 15th and 16th centuries except for the restored window in the north wall which is modern. (2)

Since the previous field report of 4 11 71 the exterior wall of the church has been stripped of ivy, the interior wall has been re-painted and the floor and ceiling have been repaired. It is
