Full Description
A low mound, possibly the remains of a Bronze Age barrow, to the west of Quomp Copse is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).
The mound is visible as a low irregular earthwork 29m long and between 16m and 19m wide. It is situated within a copse of trees around 145m to the southeast and 360m to the east of a small group of Bronze Age barrows (MDOs 32361-32364) visible as cropmarks on Google Earth imagery (2). This feature may be associated with that barrow group although its slightly irregular shape may alternatively indicate a natural origin.
The feature is under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery (3).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
