Summary
A low indistinct mound on the ridgeway within Quomp Copse is visible on current Lidar imagery. The feature may be a possible Bronze Age barrow, one of a wider barrow cemetery. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A low indistinct mound on the ridgeway within Quomp Copse is visible on current Lidar imagery (1). The feature may be a possible Bronze Age barrow, one of a wider barrow cemetery on the ridgeway to the east (incorporated within MDOs 8807-10; MDOs 39664-7; MWX3257-9 and Hob UID 458505) .
On current Lidar imagery this feature is shown as a low mound measuring around 13.5m in diameter (1). It may be the remains of a Bronze Age barrow but alternatively it could be of natural origin.
The mound is under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery (2).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
