Full Description

A small extractive pit is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (1) on the northern edge of Holt Heath. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The feature is still visible as an extant earthwork on DCC vertical photographs (2).
