Summary
A field of narrow ridge and furrow cultivation marks is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Riverside Farm, Horton. The features are considered to be the result of 19th or early 20th century cultivation. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A field of narrow ridge and furrow cultivation marks is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Riverside Farm, Horton. The features are considered to be the result of 19th or early 20th century cultivation. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features have since been been levelled by ploughing (3) and the site has now been partially destroyed by as series of modern fish ponds (2).
