Summary

A series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the north of Willow Farm, Horton. They lie within a wood marked on the OS 1st edition map and are considered likely to be of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the north of Willow Farm, Horton (1). They lie within a wood marked on the OS 1st edition map and are considered likely to be of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The features lie in rough ground but are not visible on recent DCC VAP imagery or on lidar (2-3).
