Summary
A series of linear trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Woodlands Common. They lie immediately to the south of (and possibly predate) the gravel pits described in MDO39747). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A series of linear trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Woodlands Common (1). They lie immediately to the south of (and possibly predate) the gravel pits described in MDO39747. The features are still visible as upstanding earthworks (2-3) and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
