Full Description

A post medieval extractive pit 68m long by 44m wide is visible to the northeast of Gussage All Saints on current Lidar imagery (1). The extractive pit and a trackway leading into it from the east is visible on an aerial photograph darted 1995 (2). The site is within cropping fields on current Google Earth imagery and is visible on DCC VAP 2002 and 2005 (3 and 4). The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
