Full Description
A post medieval extractive pit 25m long by 15.5m wide (at widest extent) is visible to the northeast of Gussage All Saints on current Lidar imagery (1). The pit is marked as Old Chalk Pit on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
The site is located at the southwest corner of a cropping field and under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
