Full Description
A possible post medieval extractive pit 21m long by 14m wide (at widest extent) is visible as a cropmark to the northeast of Gussage All Saints on a 1995 aerial photograph (1). The feature may be a medieval or post medieval chalk pit or marl pit.
The site is located within a cropping field on current Google Earth imagery but is not visible.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
