Summary

Uncertain earthworks on Redman's Hill, Horton. A linear trench 10m long with flanking ditches and an adjacent mound 16m across are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 on Redmans Hill , Horton. The features may be of extractive or militarey origin (possibly rifle butts). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Uncertain earthworks on Redman's Hill, Horton. A linear trench 10m long with flanking ditches and an adjacent mound 16m across are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 on Redmans Hill , Horton (1). The features may be of extractive or military origin (possibly rifle butts). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
