Summary
A double-curve of what appears to be topsoil removal is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between 1945 and 1946 at David's Cross. The feature is approximately 450m long and of uncertain function. It may relate to early 20th century extraction or be of military origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
A double-curve of what appears to be topsoil removal is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between 1945 and 1946 at David's Cross (1-2). The feature is approximately 450m long and of uncertain function. It may relate to early 20th century extraction or be of military origin, a small circular structure immediately to the west may be a realted feature. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
