Summary
A small group of four temporary buildings are visible as extant structures on historic aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the corner of a field on the northern edge of Lower Common, south east of Potterne Farm.  The features may be of miltary origin (they are roughly orientated east-west), they  were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
                A small group of four temporary buildings are visible as extant structures on historic aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the corner of a field on the northern edge of Lower Common, south east of Potterne Farm (1). The features may be of miltary origin (they are roughly orientated east-west) and possibly associated with the bombing decoy described in MDO39839, they  were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
