Three small post medieval extractive pits with associated trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Dewlands Common, Verwood. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. Most of the features are still extant in rough groound and visible on lidar imagery (2).
