Summary
A Bronze Age round barrow, defined by a single circular ditch 20m in diameter, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. This barrow is associated with the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. It was mapped by English Heritage’s Knowlton Circles Project and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
SU 0172 1017. A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. It is defined by a single circular ditch 20m in diameter. The barrow is associated with the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. <1>
A Bronze Age barrow is visible as a cropmark to the southwest of Knowlton on a 1989 vertical aerial photographs. <1>
The barrow measures 20m in diameter and has a single 0.5m wide exterior ditch.
The barrow is located within a cropping field and may be vulnerable to ploughing.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
