Summary
A house built around the middle of the 18th century for the Reverend Duke Butler. The building has walls covered in render and set on a rubble plinth, and a tiled roof with stone slate verges and brick chimney stacks. A wing at the rear may possibly be an earlier kitchen wing, and there is also a mid-19th century extension.

Full Description
THE RECTORY, 100 yds. N.W. of the church is two storeyed and has rendered walls above ashlar and rubble plinths; the roofs are tiled, with stone-slate verges. The main block, with a symmetrical E.
front of five bays, was probably built by the Rev. Duke Butler about the middle of the 18th century. To the N.W. is an earlier kitchen wing, with brick walls; it contains a large fireplace with a chamfered bressummer. <2>
