Summary
A linear feature seen as a cropmark (AP2) on aerial photographs during preliminary work in advance of construction of the A35 Tolpuddle to Puddletown Bypass, and excavated in 1996. This feature [1002] proved to be a shallow ditch, the filling of which contained post-medieval pottery, and which coincided with a boundary shown on the Tithe Map (1842).
