Fragments of a possible ring ditch 11m across are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1970 and 1976 to the south of Matterley Drove Farm. It is possibly the site of a levelled Bronze Age round barrow and is one of a pair of potential barrows (the other being described in MDO40119). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
