Summary

A ring ditch on Ogden Down identified on aerial photograph. Part of a small cluster of monuments, including other ring ditches, located a short distance from the Dorset Cursus, not far from the southwest terminal. Approximately 12 metres in diameter. First reported by Mr Martin Green and Barry Lewis in circa 1980.

Full Description

ST 97121295. Ring ditch, diameter 12m, seen as soil mark by Mr M. Green. <2, 3> A ring ditch identified on aerial photograph. Associated with two other ring ditches identified by aerial photography. Approximately 12 metres in diameter. Seen as a soil mark by Mr M Green. Added to part of Week Street Down Group (Bowden 1991, 7 <3> and RCHM 1975, 26 <1>).
