A section of a possible prehistoric ring ditch at St Giles's Park is visible on a 1995 aerial photograph (1). The feature measures around 36m in length and, if prehistoric in date, may be truncated by a later prehistoric field boundary (MDO40157). Alternatively it is possible the feature is of modern agricultural origin. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
