Full Description

A probable Bronze Age barrow at St Giles's Park is visible as a cropmark on a 1989 aerial photograph (1). The feature comprises a central sub-circular mound 28.4m in diameter with a possible 5m wide ditch, which may have been truncated on its west side by a post medieval track or driveway. The feature is no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
