Summary
A sub-circular ring ditch to the south of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on 1989 aerial photographs. The feature may represent a Bronze Age barrow. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A rapid examination of air-photography indicates the presence of four ring ditches, of Bronze Age date (?), visible as cropmarks south of Glebe Cottages: A - SU 03611217 <1-5, 7>. [NB the other ring ditches formerly described here have now been recorded separately. See associated monuments].
A sub-circular ring ditch to the south of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on 1989 aerial photographs <4 and 6>.
The ring ditch measures 49.5m in diameter with a 2m wide outer ditch. The feature is presumed to represent a Bronze Age barrow.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
