Summary
A cluster of small sub-circular ditches to the northwest of Creech Hill Bungalows, Wimborne St Giles, are visible as cropmarks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features may represent prehistoric pits but may alternatively be modern agricultural in origin. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A cluster of small sub-circular ditches to the northwest of Creech Hill Bungalows, Wimborne St Giles, are visible as cropmarks on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
Eight sub-circular features extending in a loosely formed east to west line from the eastern field boundary are visible in a field to the northwest of Creech Hill Bungalows. They range in size from between 4m and 14m in diameter and may be pits of prehistoric origin, ranging between Neolithic and possibly Iron Age in date. Alternatively these may simply be features of modern agricultural or even geological origin.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
