Summary
A ditched and banked linear feature to the southeast of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on 1990s aerial photographs. The feature is presumed to represent a historic trackway, probably post medieval in date, although an earlier origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A ditched and banked linear feature to the southeast of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on a 1997 aerial photograph (1).
The feature comprises a bank and flanking ditch and extends southeast from the northwest side of a historic field towards a line of four Bronze Age barrows on the southwest side of the field. A ditched curvilinear extends south from the centre of the main linear feature , aligned on a historic field boundary to the south, present on the OS 1st Edition map. The features are presumed to represent a historic trackway, probably post medieval in date, although an earlier origin is possible.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
