Summary
Ditched linears to the southeast of Creech Hill Wood are visible as cropmarks on a 1997 aerial photograph. The features probably represent historic field boundaries of medieval or post medieval date but an earlier origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
Ditched linears to the southeast of Creech Hill Wood are visible as cropmarks on a 1997 aerial photograph (1).
The features comprise two narrow curvi-linears aligned broadly east to west, with a shorter recti-linear and a short angular recti-linear to the west of these. The features are thought to probably represent historic field boundaries of medieval or post medieval date but an earlier origin is possible as they are on the northwest edge of an area containing a probable late prehistoric field system (MDO39515.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
