An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Didlington Mill (1). The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (2), it has since been levelled by ploughing. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
