Full Description
An extensive post medieval drainage system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the northwest of Didlington Farm, Chalbury (1-2). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. Much of the area has since been levelled by ploughing. Some linear features (possibly semi-natural) are however visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north (3). The features cover an area 650m by 450m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
