Summary

Linear banked earthworks to the north of All Hallows Farm are visible on current Lidar imagery. The features may form part of a late prehistoric field system, perhaps Iron Age or Romano-British in date. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Linear banked earthworks to the north of All Hallows Farm are visible on current Lidar imagery (1). The features comprise rectilinear banks and enclsoures that are considered to form part of a late prehistoricfield system,perhaps Iron Age or Romano-British in date. The features may be a continuation of similar boundaries and enclosures to the west (MDOs 5594 and 40467). The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
