Summary
An extensive system of parallel and perpendicular ditches is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of Wigbeth. This is the site of two 18th century ornamental lakes and presumably the drains were constructed after the lakes fell out of use. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
