Ditched linear earthworks on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and current Lidar imagery. The features are considered to be post medieval drainage features and were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Ditched linear earthworks on the Avon River floodplain to the northeast of Christchurch are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery (1 - 3). The features are considered to be post medievaldrainage ditches. The featrues are still largely visible on current Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
