Summary
Ditched linear features to the south of Stone Park House are visible on 1940's aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of medieval and/or post medieval origin. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
Ditched linear features to the south of Stone Park House are visible on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Lidar imagery (1 and 2).
The features comprise narrow rectilinear ditches, a number of which have a slightly more curvilinear character and run parallel to each other around 18m apart. The remainder are more regular in character and run parallel and perpendicular to each other. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of possible post medieval origin, although the slightly more curvilinear ones in particular may be of earlier, possibly medieval, origin.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
