Full Description

Ditched linear features in fields at Rowlands are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The features are situated either side of an artificial leat or stream channel present on the OS 1st Edition map (2). They are presumed to be post medieval drainage ditches. The site is redeveloped as housing on current Google Earth imagery and the featuresare no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
