Summary

Ditched linear features on the south side of Wimborne Minster are visible on 1940's and 1950's aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be post-medieval drainage ditches. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Ditched linear features in fields at Rowlands are visible on 1940s and 1950s aerial photographs (1 and 2). They are presumed to be post medieval drainage ditches. The site is under what is now Wesley Road on current Google Earth imagery and the featuresare no longer visible. They were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
