Summary
A ditched linear feature on the northeast side of Wimborne Minster is visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature is presumed to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A ditched linear feature on the northeast side of Wimborne Minster is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The feature is presumed to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.
The site is under housing on the southwest side of Giddylake on current Google Earth imagery and the feature is no longer visible. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
