Summary
Ditched linear features to the east of Greenhill Road, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
Ditched and banked linear features to the east of Greenhill Road, Colehill, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The features are narrow and include rectilinear and curvilinear forms that sub-divide historic enclosures present on the OS 1st Edition map (2). They are presumed to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible.
The features are still within open fields, although partly under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery but are no longer visible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
