A large hollow is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery at Primrose Hill, Moor Crichel. It lies on the site of a coppice marked on the OS 1st Edition Map and is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A large hollow is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery at Primrose Hill, Moor Crichel (1). It lies on the site of a coppice marked on the OS 1st Edition Map and is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
